Mike has a spot at the local fleamarket.  He said I could try and sell some stuff if I wanted to at his stand.  So I've started on a couple of projects.  The first one is a double sided crocheted rib stitch muffler extra long as mine always are.  Then I'm doing one of those soap dish dresses.  Third on my crochet hooks is a mans scarf in the Homespun Lions Brand Yarn done in 1/2 stitch to make it with the smallest holes.  After that I plan on working on Etui Boxes or Needlework Boxes in english.  they are the type that when you take the lid off they flatten out.  They are really cool.  The tutorial for them is on the quilting website that I go to.  So that should keep me busy until September.  And if they don't sell I know exactly who is getting them for christmas lol.

Those are nice boxes, Tammy. Kind of labor intensive.

Once the patterns are made I don't think it will be to bad but we'll see.  Sounds like I know what will be on christmas wish lists this year lol.

I really adore them I have everything layed out on the dinningroom table but it's going to take me a while to find enough tag board to make the pattern pieces.  I kind of scattered things the last time I organized and I can't find my rotary cutter and some other things.

The Oceana Doubled Crocheted Rib Knit Muffler is finished.  It looks good.

The Montana Sky Home Spun Single Crochet Muffler is finished.  It looks like a nubby tweed when it's crocheted that way.  I really like it's softness.

I've started on a Pineapple Suite Wall Hat but I'm using different materials.  I'm using some of the variegated caron.  I'll let you know how it goes.  I'm on row 17 of 27 so far.  This is the last of the yarn so next will be the boxes.

That would be really cool wouldn't it?  But if it isn't profitable I'm making things that will be christmas presents for friends and family.  At least as far as the money holds out.  That way it won't be a loss.

Did you ever have one of those days?  I've been going through public domain pictures looking for good canidates for knit graphics and I downloaded a bunch of them and come to find out they are all tiny and go out of focus when they are enlarged.  Now I have to start all over.  Why didn't I check this first thing?

I actually started out looking for a cardigan pattern like the one my mom bought for my dad back in the sixties.  It was gorgeous.  A stag was on the back and it wasn't one of the cartoonish ones.  You know what I mean?  Any way I couldn't find one so I was thinking of making one.  Not completely impossible with computers.

I managed to get a matching dye lot for the variegated caron so I'm finishing up the hat.  I don't think starch or even glue will give it enough stability but I think a heavy interfacing and a lining to hid the interfacing will do the trick.

I managed to get some canvas board for the boxes.  The posterboard just was not stable enough and I didn't think the cardboard would last very long before it would start to show the wear by creasing or folding in unfortunate ways.  I think wood would have been as cheap and I'll check that out the next time I'm in Lynchburg.  But with the 1/4 inch elastic I was able to find at Roses I should have all the supplies I need.

My hope is that I'm successful at putting it all together.  Normally when I try anything crafty that is three demensional things go horribly wrong.  My plan of attack for this project is to go very slowly and to be as accurate as I possibly can.
