That's nice.  It looks like very thick yarn.

Wow, that's busy.
yes.  if i do something for all the babies i want/need to, there will be 5 blankets between now and july, 3 new born type toys, and a toddler toy.  and that is assuming that there are no more popping up in the near or far future.

my nephew has twins due in march, niece due in april, nephew's wife due in may, daughter's sister in law due in june/july, my doctor is due in april, and my little sister's step daughters both just had babies last week, and one has a toddler that i missed doing something for.  so lots and lots of stuff that needs doing.  and i got out of the mood over the holidays.  and i still have to finish jackson's fish, zoe's fish, and my cape.  not to mention the clowns i have started.  between the wips and the need tos, i'll be crocheting forever!

SHOOT Me!  I finished the arms, front and back of the sweater and it is at least 2 sizes to small.  I swear that yarn is jinxed.  I'm not even going to look at it until I've done something else or I might end up throwing it in the trash and I can't afford that.

If I would have thought about it I would have realized it earlier.  I had left no easment in the garment at all.  But that's a great deal of pulling out to do.

you will get back to it.  or find a smaller doll for that one and make a different one for the current doll wink5

i have started the next baby blanket.  i'm about 5 stripes into it.  it will be about 18 stripes, i think, i have to go back and count the stripes on the first one.  mom said she'd make hats to match.

The sweater isn't for a doll it's for me.  We're talking about pulling out about 5 skeins of work.  Not exactly fun.

The next project are crocheted hunter socks.  I'm designing my own pattern.  I've got the toe how I want it.  The first time I went straight across and ended up with a baggy space above the little toe.  Hard to get a shoe over.  I did figure out how to shape the heel without having to stop working in a rounds.  It's a bit creative lol but it works and I don't have any large holes where I attached the edges of the row and begin working up the leg.

i didn't realize the sweater was for you.  that really sucks tammy.  i have contemplated trying sweaters and socks, but i haven't gotten that far yet.  maybe next year when there aren't so many babies.  i still want to see a picture of the sweater!

Now or when it is finished?

About the only difference between doing flat projects and sweaters are the increases and decreases which you've already run into while learning different stitches.  The rest is sewing.  An expert craftsman told me to use the chain stitch to put pieces together which works wonderfully well...no gaps.

Well I finished the hunter socks and may I say they feel wonderful on my feet.  I will definitely pick up some more yarn when I can and make a few more pair.  In the mean while I'll make a cowl with the rest of the black.

I'm about 4 inches in on the cowl and still working on it.  I'm doing a little on several projects each day as time permits.  I expect this one will be done first because it is the smaller project that can be done in front of the tv.

I'm looking forward to your photos.  I'm about halfway finished with the cowl.  The sweater is going much slower.  And I need to take out time to do the housework.  Boy has that fallen behind.

The cowl is a complete dud.  I guess I'll turn it into socks.  I need those more anyway.
