Sounds like you have been eating and exercising, doing the right things.   ThumbUp

I bet your house smells real good about now with that "shine" cooking.  If you drink too much of it we might see you dancing like this ->   banana02  or maybe like this ->  dancingbunny .

THANX

Recipe

3 Gallons apple juice

2 cups white sugar

1 cup brown sugar

6 6oz boxes or RedHots candy

6 Cinnamon sticks

1 Liter of EverClear grain alcohol

Mix apple juice, sugars candy and Cinnamon sticks in a large pot and bring to a simmer.

Remove pot from heat and add Everclear.  Let sit at least overnight and bottle.

Use caution with alcohol, it is very flamable, keep away from open flame.

Really does not have much of a bite...very smooth.  Great on a cold winters night.  I like to heat it up and drink it warm.

PS One thing I forgot on recipe.   Strain "moonshine" through cheese cloth or flour sack, before putting in jars,  the red hots are coated with a wax that floats to top when melted, makes a better show when giving as gifts.
