Orchids

Sooo I love Orchids. I have one that my love gave to me for Valentines. It have no flowers on it but the leaves are still green. Do you know if it can be saved or is it done?  Just getting into them so learning as I go  :BigGrin:

Keep on researching, Ariel. I know that people here get them to rebloom at least once a year. The blooms last a long time when they are happy. I just don't have much personal experience with them.

I have a friend who has some that have rebloomed every year for several years. Tina is right, keep researching.

Yes orchids rebloom.  What kind of orchid do you have.  There are several hundred varieties and their needs vary.

Figure out which type you have, as each has different requirements.

I have a few that live in the master bathroom window. They do best there because of the added humidity and I mostly remember to water them while punk is in the tub. The main thing it to NOT drown them or let them sit in water...above a pebble tray is great, but with the pot sitting down in water their roots rot fast.

umm yeah came back from my trip and the parents edged or yard and put weed and feed on it. Which we are very thankful for!! Then I found it in the sink drowned :/ soo was wondering now if it is a goner or is it ok? Might have to send my love to get me another one lol
