That's very christmas-y.  I'm curious, I did face clothes in a design like that, very open, and I didn't like it at all when it came to using it.  I found that I want very closed stitches for the center and leave the open work for the borders.  What do you think?

when i was working it, it got more open as i went, not so open in the middle, just my experience, but since i don't actually use them, i give most of them away, i'll have to ask the recipients.

I'd be curious to know.  Thanks for being willing to ask.  I'd also love to know what you have found to be the perfect size.

Do you do borders for your finger, face, hand, and bath towels to bring the entire set together?

Jen, I have one made like that.  I think you sent it to me a while back and I use it for a trivet because it's too loose for a dish cloth.

I was told these were dish cloths and that is how I use them. They are just scratchy enough to scrub off dried on things without scratching. The store bought ones are too soft and thin for a lot of what I like to do with them. These fill a niche in my kitchen.

Someone told me one time that crocheted dish cloths were the Cadillac of dish cloths.

I'm back to working on the Garden Bed Shawl.  I'll get a picture of the foundation when it is a little farther along and there is at least one completed pattern done.

Nice duh.  I also like the Valentines muff and the slim muff.  You've been a busy girl.

The Valentine is a muffler what you might call a scarf.

The projects actually span several years.  Only the top 7 fall within the 2013 time frame.

Today I am working on a mixed project, the Aqua Washcloths.  There will 4 of them when all is said and done.  The aqua is knitted using a moss stitch and the edging is just dc.  But I like it.  I put the first one in the guest bathroom.   There is a picture over at the other website.  I'm afraid to link incase it is a no-no.  I know that something like linking causes bandwidth problems so unless everything is on one site or photobucket I'm afraid to link.

I took some of the stuff I've designed to show Edie yesterday.  She ended up buying my barbie's cocktail dress.  I hadn't planned to sell anything but it's hard to tell Edie no.  And it was nice to be appreciated.  I'll have to make up another one in that design.  It was a favorite.

According to what photobucket said when I moved these all old links were broken so if you see a blank picture and you want the link fixed let me know and I'll do my best to put a new link up.

There are some great tablecloth pineapple designs but it takes a lot of time to do them because it is lace weight yarn and a big project.  I actually did this with caron ww rather than the #10 thread it called for.  I knew I wanted something wall mounted rather than wearable so it would work.

Actually once you get used to the pattern of the pineapples it goes very quickly.  The pattern itself will remind you of where you are so that checking back to the pattern doesn't happen all that often.
