I have 86 pieces to set on the quilt top yet and then I can sandwich the quilt.  Daunting lol.

I'm manic.  I know because I started two more quilt tops and the stained glass isn't finished.  One is a block of the month from the Quilting Board Forum and then the other one is for a beginner's machine piecing class that I'm taking at the quilt shop so I finally learn what I'm suppose to be doing.  We'll see how that goes.  Wish me luck.

I almost finished the Honey Bee (1st block) for the BOM quilt and I was pressing it when it scorched.  There were something that I didn't like about the block so this was the perfect opportunity to change them.  So I ripped out the outside border changed the colors and resewed them.  Now all I have to do is cut out the petals again and then sew them onto the block.  I'm thinking I will fuse it.

Oops two was buying the fabric for the Beginner's Machine Piecing Class.  I bought it at walmart and ended up with drapery fabric.  Not good for a beginning quilter I was told.  So 77 dollars later I had all new fabrics.  Hopefully there won't be any more errors of that type.  See what happens when I try and save a few pennies.

The Stained Glass is still sticking me with pins everytime I touch it so I'm still not making much progress.

Here is the first block for the 2015 BOM Quilt from the QuilltingBoard.com

And this morning I cut out the pieces for the second block.  I feel like I'm getting somewhere.

Thanks guys.  I don't have new pictures but I will.  It's just taking time to get everything done.

The Machine Piecing and Machine Quilting classes have helped a lot.  In fact they may answer the questions concerning the butterfly quilt as well.  It's just going to take a lot of practice.

Good. We all do better when we learn new things. Not just in quilting, in every aspect in life.

The mini art quilt isn't as good as I had hoped but it's a start.

I added the titles to the books and the numbers to the clock.  It looks much better now but I learned that the fabric softener sheets do not make good tear away fabrics lol.   Live and learn.
