More leftovers.  I know I should freeze but I never do.

duh, when I fix a roast we can eat if for days if the kids don't drop by.   Sometimes Johnny won't eat leftovers and sometimes he will and if he's in a leftover mood he loves cold roast beef on a sandwich with mayo.

Me too!  Or I might use it to make french dip.  Or mild creamy horseradish instead of mayo.

I have hamburger defrosted, anyone have any ideas?  I guess it's time to look through the recipes.

I'm doing the Family favorite Meat Loaf from the Mable Hoffman's Crockery Cookery Book.  With it will be mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans because I love green beans.  So a whole bunch of comfort food is on the menu.  What are you all having?

Chicken salad and coleslaw. That is comfort for me.

The first time I've ever been disappointed in a recipe from this book.  The family favorite meat loaf was bland.  The sauce was perfect but the meat loaf needed extra seasoning.  If I do it again I'd add the lipton dry onion soup mix.  That should beef it up and make it good.

I have short ribs defrosting.  I think I've cooked these once before.  Time to look through the recipes again.

Pot Roast to today.  I'm just not up to more than that.  I like chucking everything in the crock pot and then just letting it go.  It's so easy.  Even the clean up is easy.  One pot and that's it.
