Icing for Brownies
« on: Oct 07, 2013, 08:30:34 AM »
Again ephemera from one of the cook books.

Melt 3T butter and stir in 2 T or more cocoa until dissolved.  Add 1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar, 2T milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla.  Stir and/or beat until smooth.  Ice brownies and serve with some cool whip and fresh strawberries.

Enjoy!

I'm not sure I'll ever get to use this recipe with the diabetes but I couldn't let it go to waste.  I love it that I can put recipes on the site and they stay here inspite of what my computer does to me.

Mississippi mud huh?

Home made icing is so much better than canned.  The canned cream cheese frosting doesn't taste anything like the real stuff.
