Lots of fat there and sodium. I bet it tastes good. But although I don't avoid fats, I also don't seek them out.

I would eat that mac and cheese if someone else made it but I won't make it myself.   I'll bet it's really good though.

I want a stationary mixer but am too cheap to spend the money.

I have my kitchen aide mixer and a bunch of attachments. But I wish I had a larger kitchen to enjoy it in.

I have a box store 10 mixer and it does everything I need it to do.

I wonder if a comparison between alton browns mac and cheese and other recipes would be all that different in fats and such.  And were those numbers for all 6 servings or for 1 serving.  It would make quite a difference.  I've learned to be very leary of statistics having played with them in business to get the company what they wanted.

The stats are usually per serving.

i have an oster stand mixer (the kind that does blending, grinding, etc with the appropriate attachments, but it does not do dough as well as it is supposed to.  and it does not do divinity well either.  lately, i've just had it put away and used my hand mixer like tammy has.  but one day, i'll have a real kitchen aid...

I was flipping through channels last night and on QVC they had Kitchenaid Mixers on sale for $359.00.  All sorts of attachments and colors but I just can't make myself pay that much for a mixer.

i wouldn't mind one, i wouldn't even mind paying that for one... if i could convince myself that i don't have better uses for the money.  but i don't do that much cooking anymore.

I'm gonna keep looking and maybe I'll find one on sale.  I might try that cake with my hand mixer.

You don't need to buy it, but maybe Santa Johnny could.... :Whis:

I came home the other day and there was a big box in a Crate and Barrel bag on my front porch.  I thought someone had sent me a mixer.  Nope.  It was juice glasses from my sister.   Does anyone else think that's sort of a weird Christmas present to ship Fed Ex?  4 juice glasses from a local place. She could have just given them to me.   I'm sure she spent twice as much on shipping as she did on the glasses.  I love them and have been drinking Pepsi out of them since they arrived but I'd never think to send someone juice glasses for Christmas.  Anyway, no mixer.

Johnny came home with a mixer today.  Yippee.  I thought today I should pick up some eggs but decided to wait and get them at the farmers market on Saturday.  No cake tonight.

I made a cream cheese pound take.  Took forever and made a mess.  What was I thinking?

That it would taste really good.  Congrats on the mixer.  I haven't gotten up the nerve to use te food processor yet.
