Me too!

Now the third pair of socks are finished except for sewing up the seam but I hope to do that today.  Then it is back to work on the tunic.

Finished sewing up the 3rd pair of socks.  Now I've started the 4th pair.

Have I mentioned the Asian Inspired Tunic?  That's kind of not getting anything done at this point but I hope it will get better.

Once I got the hang of the SSK they started going pretty fast.  I hope to do about 1 pair a month.  I had to frog the 4th pair because I had dropped some stitches and had not noticed.  But I'm back at it.

4th pair of socks are done.

The Asian Inspired Tunic has the front done and I've started on the back.

I'm on the armhole shaping on the Tunic.  I'm happy with the progress so far.

It slowed way down.  Thanks for the thumbs up Tina.  Now that I'm not working on the cookbook very much I can devote more time to the knitting.

The tunic is a frog.  The worsted weight yarn is to thick for this project.

Next on the list is the batwing, crew-neck sweater with a pearl and smock front.  Doesn't it sound exciting?

Well I bought a 3 ply red heart yarn.  I bought 8 skeins of 384 yards each.  Lets hope that is enough.

Nan gave me a row counter.  I'm not sure how much use it will be on he batwing but it will definitely help with other projects.

lol yes that can happen.

I'm almost 2/3rds of the way up the front of the batwing sweater.  I've decided to do the double moss stitch rather than the stockinette stitch.

I'm lengthening the arms at this point and I've decided not to do the crew neck.  I like the idea of a cowl neck instead.  And I won't be shaping the neck and then sewing on the cowl.  I'll do it all of a piece just changing from the double moss stitch to the rib knit stitch again.  I'm excited by what it looks like so far.  I hope it continues to look good.

You may want to wait until fall after the gardening season.  My plate is seeming pretty full at the moment.
