Nice snow photo Jim/Dianna.

Now we got it, thanks, just kidding.

Light snow/breeze at times now, last check 34, may have gone down to 32/33 now.

Arctic air moving in as well later on tonight.

For the record William, you can have my share of the snow any time you want it.  I'll be just fine doing without!

I do enjoy the pictures.  A nice wet snow sure looks pretty on the trees and such.

This 20 degree swing in temps each day keeps you guessing on whether you need a coat or not.  It's confusing for the body as well.  It's a wonder we don't all have severe colds with that kind of swing every day.

Tell me about it. It is cold and wet and if the temp drops much further we are going to have snow and/or ice.

Brrr, all of you keep safe and warm.
It is 47* here and raining. Not enough to put a dent in the drought but maybe it will keep some dust down for a day or two.

Partly cloudy, 18 last check, light easterly breeze.

Lots of snow, probably more of it being snow drifts than anything. More snow later on today.

Warming coming Sunday or later, depends.

Snow and blowing snow again, think a lot of snow at times is just blowing off from whatever surface has snow. Wind is not as strong as posted yesterday, temp now 21/22.

Down the road view, if I were 10 minutes earlier would have had a deer in it, crossing the road about ~50 feet other side of mail box.

63 & sunny. I actually have opened up the windows to air out the house a bit. I do have on warm clothes though and they won't be open long.

William, I really enjoy your pictures.  That's the way I like snow!  :grinnnn:

We had a beautiful weekend.  Started off raining on Saturday morning but the sun was shining in the afternoon and yesterday was a pretty day.

We have two more storms heading at us this week, starting Tuesday evening that is supposed to bring rain and freezing rain mostly.  I had rather have the snow than the freezing rain.  One system moves through on Tuesday evening and then other about mid-day on Wednesday.  Wednesday and Thursday mornings may be tough traveling.

We should get much rain from those same storms, but thankfully the snow/ice won't make it down quite this far.

:freezin: Well we have the winter storm here again today.  I'm home today as the plant is closed.  I got up this morning at normal time but we already had ice on the trees and the vehicles.  I was checking the weather on my phone when the plant manager called to say he was closing the plant today.  I just went back to bed for a bit. Wish he would have made that decision yesterday so I could have just slept in.

We have been getting mostly freezing rain so far.  The trees and power lines are covered and lots of ice on the vehicles.  The roads are wet but don't seem to be frozen but I would imagine they will get worse as the day goes on.

In the last 30 minutes to an hour we have started getting sleet and that's better than the freezing rain.  At least it won't accumulate on the power lines like the freezing rain does.  This is supposed to continue through noon tomorrow so I may end up at home again tomorrow.

At least this year we do have alternate means of keeping warm if the power goes out.  We have a full bottle of propane and a heater head that we can use if we lose power.  Dianna has run all the bathtubs full of water and filled lots of containers because if we lose power we lose water too.  I guess I really need to get a generator but we don't have a need for one that often.

I'll take some pictures later today so you can see our ice storm!  :freezin:

Still sleeting here.  A few pics from the porches.  Too cold to venture out.  I might walk down to the mailbox after the mail runs.
