coming in the house today:
wild violets growing in the front acre

I'm not sure what this is, but it's pretty, grows in my ditch that runs along side of the driveway

ragged mums from last year, i've got to transplant them, they aren't happy (as you can tell)

more mums, they like their location a little better (obviously)

red begonias that survived the winter

Your yellow flowers look like St John's wort. A pretty selection.

Took some pictures this morning.  Things don't look great because it got too hot too soon.

Tina gave me that little flag and Jiffy gave me that song bird stuck in the flower pot.

the fruit trees are full, even the apple and I thought it wouldn't bloom because the other one was destroyed by the tornado.  Don't apple trees need at least 2 to pollinate?

not exactly sure what this is but I think I planted one little flower in this pot last year and it didn't do well.  But this year it's been beautifully pink until it got into the 90's for weeks at a time.

here are a couple shots of my spider lilies.

day one had one bloom.  each bloom lasts about 2 days.

day 2 had 2 blooms.

day 3 had 3 blooms but i'm having trouble with the picture.
bloom 1 is faded now, and bloom 2 is almost gone.  we'll see how it goes from here.

They are pretty. We had some at the Circuit office when I worked over there. But hey sure don't last very long.

they don't barb.  but if you have an established and healthy clump, they will bloom one right after the other for a long time... i'm hopeful.

Pretty.  Is it a root or bulb or rhizome plant?

sheri, if you want one, i have one i can send you.  it is small and won't bloom for a year or so, but it is easy to get out. they bloom best when they are crowded, and this one is not as crowded (and easier to get out) as the others.
