Yes, that was my first computer as well.  I went from that one to a Commodore 64, then to an Amiga before I finally bought my first windows machine.  I taught myself BASIC on the VIC20 and C64.  Ran my first Bulletin Board System (BBS) on a Commodore 64.

I hooked up to a TV.

A cousin got a C64 and gave me his Vic20 way back when.

I started on a commodore 64.
