Thanks Tina.  I did finish it last night.  I'm very glad.  I really have to start taking some pictures.

Lets see what does that leave.

The peony wall hanging.  I found some peony leaf silhouettes for it.  I'm still trying to figure out how to get the stems to look right.  So far no luck.  The green has white polka dots on it and I keep thinking aphids.  We have to use fabric from our stash and the right thing has not hit me yet.

I did get some more pink for a sweet treat that I earned in Queen Bee's so I have more petal material.

The Navy quilt hasn't been started yet.

The Christmas quilt has a pattern.  I think I mentioned that.

The Loralie Christmas Quilt has a solution to the backing fabric.  I'm going to piece the sashing.

The Star Flower also has a solution.  Marilyn has a long arm.  I just have to save up enough money for her to be able to do it.

The placemat is done for the holiday luncheon.  I'm so looking forward to it.  My new friend is not.  That poor woman is so unhappy.  She doesn't like the quality of the other members placemats and she doesn't want a single placemat.  I told her what my plans were for the placemat I get.  I have an inspiration wall and I use placemats under my dining room table center pieces.  That is when the craft room hasn't spilled out into the dining room.

The woven placemat is finished.  I tried to get a picture but it is way to blurry.

it still sounds pretty tammy.  even without the picture.  i'm sorry your friend is not happy, but you can't take that on.  at least you will have something either for inspiration, or if all else fails, you can turn it into a pot holder

OH, OH, idea flash!  A Different placemat for each setting!  Perfect for me and I get to audition a number of quilting patterns before I go whole hog on them.  I love it!  I can do six for spring, six for st patty's day, six for summer, six for 4th of july...you get the picture right?  How great is that.  And if I really like one I can do six of it for special occasions.

bestofour so do I.

I'm very happy with the idea.  It will give me even more reason to look forward to the next holiday season.

I did nothing on the quilts today.  Now I'm trying to ignore that last set of dishes that need washing.  I'm so bad.

I finished the table runner.  I realized why the original quilter didn't quilt it.  It isn't flat.  So I just did a line of quilting around each heart and around the borders.  It is enough I think.  I will show it on friday.

The project after the star quilt will be the lighted christmas wreath quilt wallhanging.  That's a mouth full isn't it?

I was but now I have to redo the table runner  I hope I can fix it.  For some reason it does not lay flat and since I didn't piece it I have no idea what the problem is.  One step forward two steps back I guess.

after talking to Marilyn I've decided to do the holly berry and leaf pattern.  So I drew what I wanted on the golden threads paper and plan to try that today.  This is going to be in contrasting thread so I have my fingers crossed.  At least I've had plenty of practice with the ripping out.

There will be rip it, rip it, rip it.  Already I've went off course.  I need to mark it before I try yet again.
