the filling for the shells and stuffing them is a lot of work. more than I would do. But she was craving it and willing to do it.

Thank you for the info.  I'm still munching on the congressional bean soup and loving it.

Sounds good barb.  I did stouffer's.  I had enough dishes just from the baking without adding to it.  I used up the last of the bread so I guess I'm going to the store tomorrow.

We are having brats for supper tonight. Due to the power outage we may have later, I am already heating them and hoping to just nuke them to get them hot when Jim gets home.

We had chops w/veggies & mac&cheese. I got 2 bites of mac and cheese. Guess that what happens when I'm the last to fix my plate.

Rotated pork roast, veggies & noodles.  I like the sound of yours better Jen, do you bake it together in a casserole? That's what I do and it is soooo yummy. One of those dishes that's better the 2nd day (if any left), but still yummy the first day.

I dice up the ham and pan fry it with some onion first. Brings out the flavors, then put it in the taters and in the oven. Yum.

Tonight was breakfast for dinner and I'm still full.

Last night we had potatoes, smoked sausage, and onions baked together with a can of chili beans for a side. It was good.

We had Tissy chicken, rice a roni, and pintos for supper last night and strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting. I got the chicken when I went to the store for groceries, fresh off the rotisserie.  :licklips:

I am glad you explained. I was going to ask what tissy chicken was.
Tonight I'm going to make my goulash. It's just hamburger, bacon, bell peppers, onions and tomatoes with pasta but it is so good. It will last me three days, better each day.

Gosh, that sounds good, Tina.  :licklips:

We will be having grits and eggs for supper tonight. Jim's tummy is acting up again and I figure bland will be good for him. :)
