« on: Jan 04, 2017, 07:40:11 AM »
A new one opened for all this crazy weather we are about to get.

Supposed to get colder each day leading up to a snow event for us on Friday/Saturday.   :freezin:

Brrr, Jim. Keep safe and warm.
We are cold and going to stay there but the strongest weather is going to stay north of us. I'll be OK with that.

No rain yet and the temps are still about 55.  If the cold gets here before the rain we will get more snow.  If the rain gets here first it will be mostly rain with a wintry mix.

Getting cold. I don't remember which two, but for two nights we are to be into the 20s. I think they said Sat. & Sun highs in the upper 40s. We were supposed to get rain this afternoon and evening but I haven't seen any yet.

Rain & storms finally moved through. It's not raining right now but we're not done for the night. Good time to let the dogs out. Sounds like Krys is going to let Meeka sleep inside tonight. I know she will Sat. & Sun as it is going to freeze those nights and she always brings her in when it freezes.

Cloudy, 19, easterly wind up to 20 mph. Windchill been single digits.

And have no heat, aside from heaters, still house is chilly.

Rain event for us so far.  34° with a windchill of 23°.  Tonight supposed to get down to 23° with the windchill somewhere around the middle teens.  We are thinking of closing the plant down tonight because of the potential for some slick roads.  Lots of people will call in I imagine so it will probably be the best thing to do anyway.

William, what happen to your heat?

Woke to sunshine this morning - but cold sunshine. Our high today was 47. Don't know what the wind chill is but it is very windy and the wind is icy.

Currently 32. Wind chill is 20. Low is to be 27. For here that is cold. Thankfully its dry, no ice or snow to worry about. Tomorrow night will be our last freeze for a bit. We'll start warming back up on Monday, though high then is still only predicted to be 55.

Was 19° when I left the  house this morning.  I let the truck warm up a bit before starting out.  We are supposed to warm up starting today as well.  I don't think this is the last of the cold though.

Hope you can figure out what is going on with your furnace William.  Those space heaters can really run up the electric bill with as cold as you guys get.

Snow, 32, light easterly breeze at times. Briefly made it to 33.

Had freezing rain last night and earlier this morning, switched back to snow.

House isn't too cold this morning (thankfully). And I am ready for spring.

it is warming up here as well, and supposed to get up to 76 before the week is out. but like you jim, i don't believe it is over by any means. i think it is going to be one of those yoyo years where we go through cold spells all the way into april.
