Gmail was driving me nuts

(1/1)

Tina:
I don't know what day it was that my gmail went nuts. It kept reloading and then it would start over. About 10 times then it would freeze and offer me a login page but wouldn't accept my name or password. I followed all of their clues; deleted cookies and made sure they were enabled, etc. Restarted stuff, logged out and back in.
The thing that seemed to work finally was I turned it all off and then went to gmail via Google. I was going to open a brand new account bu t they had a log in page so I decided to try it. I clicked on it and it went straight to my page.  :grinnnn:   I'm happy.

Jim:
I've had that happen to me on normal web pages.  Mostly it happens on my phone though so that could have something to do with it.  The Tractor Supply website is terrible on my phone but works fine on my desktop.  Same thing with the Pizza Hut website.

Glad you got it fixed.

Sorry for me the above didn't work when I tried it several times.  It also got to the point where I could access some websites but some I couldn't.  Couldn't figure it out so Johnny took my computer to his office IT guy who at first said the hard drive was wiped clean, which I knew wasn't true because I could access a lot of stuff.  So then he said he was able to recover stuff and a week later I've got it back and it's working fine.  The interesting thing about my gmail was that Johnny's, on this same desktop, worked fine the entire time.  Makes no sense.  Thanks for trying though Tina.

Tina:
Ok, I'm glad you have it back.
