Pretty pictures!

I love the one with the butterfly!

Is the first one a Double-Lavender Angel Trumpet?

Great pictures!

I was wondering if it was an Angel Trumpet, too. What is that pink flower? It looks like a pinwheel...;)

The butterfly looks like it has a head and shoulders shot of a person down by it's tail! Very cool! 8)

:Wow: Is that a tree? That is rather an odd-looking plant. I love how the flowers just drape over...

It is becoming like a tree, I hope it will Winter over.....if not I'll be collecting seeds from it this fall anyway... I planted a few seeds for Love Lies Bleeding and so far I got 1 plant. lol.
The pink flower in the 1st set of photos is seashell cosmos I believe. I have a bunch of cosmos all approaching bloom time....

Spider flowers are doing well too *broken link removed*

I have bee balm for the butterflies to hang out on....*broken link removed*

And red cockscomb *broken link removed*

You have some nice garden bed areas. Very pretty! :)

Are the spider flowers "cleomes"?

Thank You and yes, the spider flowers are cleomes, I should have posted that name too....lol  :goofy:

I have been doing alot of edging of flowerbeds this year. We used to have landscape ties in the yard, but we took them all out this year as they made the landscape look dated.

This is a castor bean plant, you have to be careful with this plant as it is poisonous if ingested....but then again who ingests  dangerous seeds? lol.... You shouldn't have it in a house with children and or pets

this is my cosmos patch along with everything else......*broken link removed*

Hi Rita,

Yes my real name is Charlotte...... :SlapSelf:

The love lies bleeding plant has me totally fascinated too..... I wish I had a few more. I will be trying to save the seeds this year for seed swapping this Fall. And next year I would like to have a few more. They are totally cool the way they bloom. I'm also going to try and dry the flowers, I hope the keep their color as it's such a pretty red...... :Wow:

These are pretty flowers too, I only wish I could remember their names.....lol

Hi Rita,

I LOVE ALL of your Flowers, they look marvelous.....I love this time of year when all of the flowers start putting on their show of color.......

The star gazer lily sounds really coo.... I have orange tiger lillies and they are about 3' tall. I also have purple datura that is getting to be a really cool plant.....the blooms don't last real long, but the flowers are gorgeous

this is the datura flower when starting to open....

our 4 in oone apple tree has apples on it this year, I hope they go all the way

Those are some gorgeous flowers, Charlotte and Rita!

Does the desert rose bloom, Charlotte? I saw one at Wal-Mart the other day and nearly took it home with me. I love that butterfly/lily picture...

Rita, that is so neat that you put your flowers out in the middle of the veggie gardens! Does it draw more bees to the garden to help the veggies with pollination? :SmileyQmarks: That is an awesome close-up of the zinnia!

That was my thought Dianna.. I was hoping they would help with polenation but with the male flowers and female flowers seem to not be blooming at the same time :SlapSelf: I have had only 6 of the summer squash so far this year and that is because I hand pollenated them  I think this next year I better plant 2 of the plants instead of just 1!
Charlotte I planted
12 roma tomatoes
27 hot peppers
12 bell peppers
3 Cucumbers
1 summer Squash
Garlic ... not doing well  :Whis: Should of planted in the fall
onions
and corn

:Wow: So many beautiful flowers and different colors, it's like opening on of my garden catalogs.  ;) Great job, Charlotte and Rita.  Charlotte, is that a 'Stargazer' Lily with the butterfly on it?    :ScratchHead:
