Since I don't know the species it may not be possible to answer this question.  But I broke my clump apart and planted it yesterday.  Today it's looking alittle wilted.  Do the grasses recover?  Is there anything I can do to help it?

They usually will recover.. Is it annual or perennial

I would think that it would recover, Duh. I think it may be going through some shock right now. My grasses always look a little peaked for a couple of days after dividing... Smiley
