Thanks Penny,
I have a fun time decorating it. and I get to use all the scrapbooking stuff that out there. I would love to do scrapbooking with photo, but I just have too many photos....lol

Looks great Charlotte!!! It is so neat to see, but my patience would run out after a VERY short while. I am all thumbs when it comes to small things!

Ahhh, I wouldn't claim to be the most patient, it just depends on what it is. My hubby helped me build the dollhouse and now I decorate it.
When things don't stay in place properly I use elmer's glue....(it eventually dries out so it could be removed) It's alot of fun.....I'll have to post inside the dollhouse photos too.... that's very detailed.....
spooky house....

Looking good, Charlotte! Sure wish you could come and decorate my house for Halloween! :grinnnn:
-
The detail is amazing. Can't wait to see the interior.
-
awsome kratz!!!!!!! so cool how those lights look like a glowing string of light or somthing.
-
Absolutely darling, Charlotte!
Penny, I still can't find any ghost waving from the front window... have I gone blind, or are YOU seeing things? :giggle:
(Maybe I'll be able to see him once we get inside!) :grinnnn:
-
Looks great Charlotte. Love all of the detail, if you can do all that then scrapbooking it should not be bad at all!
-
Hey, Charlotte, your Halloween house looks terrific! Actually, I probably enjoyed decorating my dollhouses for the holidays as much as I did my own. :rofl1: Of course, I found the advantage was I could start on it early, then just put it aside, so I could take my time on it and not be rushed. ;)
-
I agree with that......
I actually decorate the dollhouse more than I do my real house, it's sooo much easier, and less work in the long run. I don't scrapbook with photos as if I did I would need a u-haul just to move photo albums. I have way too many photos to choose from. So I just use the things for decorating the dollhouse. I'll start a post today with the inside of the dollhouse.... for those that would like to see it.....
-
Hey, Charlotte, that would be a wonderful idea. I would really love to see the inside of it, too!!! ;)
-
I was just uploading the photos to my bucket account..... I'll go and post the inside of the dollhouse so you can see......I'll be back.... with Halloween....lol :)

Charlotte, I'm looking forward to seeing the photos. ;) Here's a photo of one of my pumpkins but my camera gets a little fuzzy on pictures that close. I used to make them so the top comes off so I could put a candle (not real) inside, and you can see the top next to the pumpkin. I did make a few where I put a light inside and those were really neat, but they had to be sitting on a box so I could hide the wires. The object on the right is a dime so Patty doesn't complain. :rofl1: :laugh1: :laughmao:

Cute pumpkin, Patti! I'm assuming that it's one you made somehow, rather than grew in your garden. (Your squirrels would never have let them go to harvest!) It almost looks like it might be wax. :SmileyQmarks: :dunno:
Good girl, with the dime... although I've always used a nickel. I guess you must have more money than I do! :giggle:
-
Yes, Patty, I did make the pumpkin out of Fimo clay. I used that for making many of the things for my dollhouses, including making a few dolls. :wink5: The pumpkin is hollow and the eyes, nose and mouth are cut out. ;) Actually, growing one and carving it may be a little easier than making a miniature one. :dunno: :laughpound:
Geesh, I really wish I would have remembered about you using a nickel, :SlapSelf: because it would probably have been a lot easier to make a nickel stand up than it was using a thin dime. :SmileyFit:
-
now,now ladies.......lol
It's alot of fun making thing for the dh..... I just need to find the time and talent......
I have the fimo clay, but I need to start making things with it..... do you follow a pattern or just wing it?
I would like to make some of those pumpkins..... they are really cute......how big did you make them?

Nope, I never used a pattern, Charlotte, I just wing it. ;) My pumpkins are usually no bigger than a quarter. The one in the picture is 7/8", and I found that was always a good size for whatever I needed since I made everything in a 1:12 scale.
