Rainy, mild 52, light breeze here and there.
-
Warm and windy today.
-
sunshine yesterday & 66. More sunshine/partly cloudy (no rain) today and supposed ot hit 70
-
Our forecast high today is supposed to be 77° with lots of sunshine. Won't be long before the grass is turning green and we will be mowing again.
-
You can come practice on mine, Jim. Although mine needs mostly a weedeater as it is on hillsides.
Today will be slightly cooler than yesterday. The wind is supposed to kick in also at some point.
-
currently 74 with lots of sunshine. very nice day.
-
cold and windy
-
Cool and windy. But not cold, so much.
-
It was very windy this a.m., but thankfully the wind has died down. The wind was icy. We've hit 62, i think that'ss our high today
-
66° so far today. Supposed to be a nice day tomorrow and then rain returns for Sunday and Monday.
-
sounds just like our weather here jim.
-
They were correct with the forecast for rain on Sunday and Monday. We woke to rain on Sunday and it rained off and on all day. We ended up with about .29 inches. Raining a light mist this morning on my way to work and it has continued so far. The temperatures have gone from a high of about 60° at 1:00 AM to 43° with a wind chill of 39°.
We are definitely having some "changing" weather this year!
-
We've had 3.5" in the last 24 hours. Some areas around us had almost 5". Glad it is supposed to be out of here by tomorrow. Right now it is still drizzling. We had 2 buildings catch fire yesterday (1 someone's home, and 1 a condo on the beach) due to lightening strikes. Last 24 hrs have been nasty.
-
Keep safe, Barb.
-
Rain is done now for a few days. Stopped about an hour ago and sky is trying to clear.
-
Tomorrow we have a 20% chance of rain and it's supposed to get up to 45°.
-
Sunny, 50, light easterly breeze.
-
It is only 9:30 am but already plenty warm at 65* it is supposed to jump much warmer today.
-
We have storms moving in. Luckily later than first predicted. No rain for the trip.
-
Rain and more rain. We had an inch or more yesterday and another 1/2 inch since midnight. It started sprinkling about 2:00 yesterday, steady rain about 4:00 and rained off and on most of the night. It was rough unloading and loading at karaoke last night but we had help so that was nice.
Overcast today with lots of standing water. I'll need to get out later and get the leaves out of the drainage ditches so it will drain faster.
-
Our rain ended late yesterday. The rivers around here are dealing with hitting flood stages. Luckily no river near me. Has been cool and overcast/dreary all day. Tomorrow the sun is supposed to come out and be near 80.
-
Cloudy/low clouds, low 40's, calm.
-
Clouds, mid 40's and windy.
-
sunny 80+
-
Was gorgeous today, sunny and hot with a nice breeze to keep you from melting. The rain storms are coming though.
-
Yes they are. We are having seriously bad storms as I type this, and are under a tornado watch.
-
Keep safe. We have heavy, hot winds and are under a fire watch.
-
Looks like most of the rain and storms stayed south of us this time. I saw where Pensacola got 20" of rain. I would need a boat to get out of the house if we got that much rain. Hope Barb and folks in the panhandle of Florida weathered this storm as well as they have previous ones.
-
Cloudy, low 60's, light breeze at times.
-
Hot, hot, hot.... :hot: :hot: :hot:
-
Hot here too. 91* in the shade.
-
Today's high was 93 w/index close to 100. Hot!
-
Already 95° at the house with a heat index of 106°.
The pool water was 84° yesterday so it should be just about to where Dianna likes it today. I may have to put the flower return in to shoot some water up in the air to cool it down.
Supposed to have thunder storms moving in tomorrow and cooling off a bit.
-
that was what we had today as well jim, but we aren't supposed to get more than a 5* break with the storms coming... :hot:
-
It was cloudy and muggy today. Was kinda drizzling when I took the dog out. Either that or the mugginess is so thick it's dripping off the trees. Very possible. Supposed to have rain tomorrow.
-
Forecast for us is rain today. We did finish up cutting the grass yesterday after work. It had cooled off just enough that it wasn't terribly uncomfortable. 60% chance of rain today and some storms possible. 83° is the current temp with 63% humidity.
-
Sunny, low 50's, calm.
-
Just a sprinkle or two at the house but it really rained hard in Sumter where I work. Supposed to be more of the same today.
-
After a couple of short down pours this morning, it has cleared up, the sun is shining and it is 90+°. Hot.
-
Not much rain so far and it's cooled off quite a bit. Yesterday when I left the office it was 84°. When I got home is was 74°. It's only a 45 minute drive but the temps dropped that much in that time.
It's been cooling off so much at nights I think you can see the grass grow. :Groaner:
We finished mowing on Tuesday evening and it looked like it needed mowing again this morning. I'm going to try and wait till next week though so I can get a few other things done around the house this weekend.
-
It got really dark and was thundering but no rain and it has lightened up. It is only 85 here too. We will get rain before it is all over with though
-
We had a late afternoon shower yesterday and it was hot and muggy before. Once the shower moved through the temps dropped and a gentle breeze made it much cooler.
This week they are saying we may hit triple digits. They are forecasting a high of 99° on both Thursday and Friday with a heat index of 5 to 6° higher. Drink lots of water!
-
Its 9 here now with a heat index of 103. Its HOT.
-
Warming up here. But still under 80*
-
Hey now, I made it through the day. lol
I'm tired. Think I'll veg a bit, then think about what's for dinner.
-
Showery, 51, calm.
-
We just had a thunder storm go through. I think its all done now though. Glad it waited until I got off work. lol
-
It got a little windy last night but so far no thunder storms. They keep saying 20% each day but I think they do that when they just don't know. I hope it holds off for a few more days so we can get the grass mowed. We will start that tonight after work and then finish it up after work tomorrow night.
It has been hot though. It's 87° now and 60% humidity.
-
Yes, you folks were all in a red swatch on the map for heat and humidity. Keep safe.
Our heat is supposed to set in this week. I'd prefer the more middle temps we have had. Cool and overcast in the mornings, burn off to upper 70's daily.
-
Showery, believe low 50's range, calm.
Yesterday was around 80 or so and sunny. Not today.
-
Cloudy, 54, calm.
-
88 w/heat index of 96. Hot and muggy!
-
A little cooler today and dreary. Happy about that.
-
Sunny, low 80's, calm and somewhat humid.
-
Cloudy, upper 50's, calm.
-
No one interested in this topic anymore?
Cloudy, around 55, calm.
-
Hi William. I have missed you.
I live in the desert in the middle of a drought. I don't really have a lot of weather to report. Most of us tend to just stick a sentence into a post in the lounge.
Today it is cool (under 80*) and overcast. Wind may kick up today. That is always worrisome in a drought situation.
-
Got to mid-80s here today but with low humidity, its nice.
-
Rainy, 56 or so, calm.
-
A little overcast. I need to put new batteries into my weather station thing. I know I am supposed to put either the outdoor portion or indoor portion first to make sure it works correctly. But I cannot remember which one.
-
Sorry, Tina, have no idea.
Rainy, 46/47, breezy at times.
-
Currently 60° Will get to upper 70s today. This is the time of year where we get 20 t0 30 degree spreads between the lows and highs.
-
Yep, definitely layer wearing weather. Got to begin peeling it off but keep it close because you will be needing it again. We began today in the mid 50's.
-
yea, we began our day med 50s too but didn't get up until 9. lol by then it had warmed a bit. lol
-
As for changing batteries; normally you would want to change the transmitter first so that when you put new ones in the receiver it finds the signal rather quickly.
Was 48° here this morning and up to 68° now. By the end of the week they are calling for frost! We'll see.
-
Thanks, Jim. I thought you would know.
This week is to be mostly cool nights and moderate days. They ae saying Halloween is going to be cool and nice but next weekend includes a 4 letter word. Rain. I'll believe it when I see it.
-
We hit mid 80s today and supposed to again tomorrow but are to cool back down somewhat by Thurs.
-
we are having wonderfully cool evenings/nights (mid 50s) and rather warm days (mid 80s) but i will take this weather over extremes either way!
-
Tina, I didn't know you have a weather station thing. I'd like to have one.
Our weather has been lovely.
-
My 'weather station' is just a two piece unit. The main part goes outdoors and the other part stays inside. the inside tells me temps outside and in and also humidity. Then the outside highs and lows for the day. A fairly simple unit. Not as much info as Jim's set up.
-
We are supposed to have a cold front move through tomorrow afternoon with some showers/storms with it. Nothing serious they say, but cooler temps to follow (70s for highs instead of 80s)
-
They are saying frost for us on Sunday morning. Of course the high yesterday was 80°+. I'm ready for some cooler weather. I don't really want to mow the grass again!
-
We're supposed to have frost on Saturday, I think, and I'm with you Jim.
-
Yup, our high on Sat is only supposed to be in the 60s. it was mid 80s today
-
High today was 81* I replaced batteries in my units.
-
Rainy, 53, breeze here and there.
-
Your rain is heading down this way tomorrow, William. I'll take any spare drops.
-
It's nice and chilly today. Perfect for Halloween.
-
Here too. And it is raining giant spiders behind the pool out back. At night they are lit by strobes.
-
It is almost 12;30 and has only reached 69°. Not gonna get much warmer today. Tomorrow is to be even colder. We are supposed to actually get to low in the 40s tomorrow nite
-
Today's high is 62*. Low will be in the 40's tonight.
-
Cloudy, 43, calm.
-
Wet and wonderful. 51* and reasonably calm.
-
Had to scrape frost this morning when I headed out to vote on my way to work. Low was 36° and it is 60° now. I turned my heat on Saturday. I guess winter is just around the corner.
-
Suppose to get to 68° today but it sure looks like winter outside.
-
I broke ice out of my deep freeze yesterday and it won't finish melting until later today. Unusual. But it is not really cold. 58* at almost 9 am. I'm not sure what the high will be but thinking upper 60's.
-
Clear, 45 or so, calm.
-
The temp dropped 10° between work and home. It is 55 right now. supposed to get down into the 40s tonight.
-
Clear, 26, very gusty east wind.
-
Ya'll's winds are all over our news.. be careful out there William.
-
Snow and blowing snow, 27, east wind up to 40 mph.

-
Brrr, William.
Cool and overcast here, without rain. It feels like my thermometer is stuck on 57* and damp.
-
54 here. A good 10° cooler than when I left for work this morning. Supposed to get really cold tonight. Maybe even freeze.
-
Keep warm, Barb.
-
Forecasting a hard freeze for us tomorrow night. Guess I'll have to run the pool pump if it's going to get down in the 20s. I guess winter is officially here..
-
Snow turned to freezing rain, still 27, wind has died down a lot.
This cold outbreak should only be a short one, perhaps lasting less then a week.
Add: have 2 inches of snow.
-
ours is for a few days, then warm up for 1 or 2 days then get even colder next week. So yea. Winter is here.
-
Clearing up, around 36, easterly breeze up to 10 mph.
Yesterday the freezing rain lasted about an hour and then switched back to snow, total snow ~4 inches. Road has probably about an inch of packed snow. Trying to melt, but will just freeze overnight, east wind is to pick up again over the weekend.
-
Brrr, William. I am glad that is not me. We had a touch of rain this morning. Not measurable amounts. But damp is damp in fire season. High of 60*.
-
Clear, around 30, east wind up to 20 mph.
