One present bought and shipped. I'd of had the other one two except ebay has messed up my order.
That website has become a real pain. I'm going to see if I can find the product somewhere else.

wow. tammy, you are fast. although, that said. i have some of the stuff for mine. i can honestly say that my person is somewhere north, latitude -wise from me. :BigGrin: and i have at least one of the perfect gifts. and more go come :giggle: my plan is to shop tomorrow.

can everyone consolidate their likes, kitchen colors, and such here one last time? for me it is xl or 2xl t-shirts (cheap thin ones are great!), chimes, magnets, yard art, those towels tammy makes (or anyone who crochets can make). i should have said neat or different house plant pots (especially light weight ones). oh, and i need a new watering can. i collect shot glasses. sun hats are always good for me.
ok, that's it for me. now, if everyone else would do the same, i've read back through, and i think all our wish lists are very disjointed. but i think i found most of my persons stuff. i think.

I like weird or different stuff for my gardens. (shopping in a junk yard is fine). I don't remember what else I said. Flower colors are blue and flame colors (red, orange, yellow). I wear an XL t-shirt or even 2X (that is shoulders like a football player not a chest). Deep toned wind chimes like bamboo or something. Kitchen/bath and such is all tones of blue. Solar lighted things of all sorts.

I collect frogs...the fatter and rounder the better.
I collect copper items.
I like tiny windchimes, the ones that are about the size of your hand.
I collect sun, and sun and moon designs.
I love the cut crystals that throw rainbows everywhere.
My kitchen is predominantly medium blue and white with deep red accents.
I love cobalt blue glass.

I have been looking for peppermint oil. You know like essential oils.
I like windchimes.
I like patriotic stuff.
I collect sun and moon designs too.
I like solar stuff.
Yard art is wonderful.
I like bird stuff, platform feeders, seeds.
Can always use garden gloves and sun hats, flower seeds.
My favorite colors are yellow and cobalt blue.
My flamingo on a rope swing little yard flag blew away.
That's about it.

Johnny and I went to breakfast today and then to buy something specific for my swap friend. $200.00 later we didn't have the specific present but Johnny had a new pair of boots. He said he likes this gift swap. Meanwhile I'm going to have to check online.

I just ordered my first part of my gift and had it sent direct to my swap partner.

I do it every single time. :rolleyes1: I load boxes and get so eager to seal them and get them off that I don't include any notes, cards or anything. If someone doesn't read the return addy on the box they would be clueless. But I have a large flat-rate box all sealed and I am not going to rip through that expensive tape to add anything. :smileyNo:
So, to my gift person:
"In this box is a bunch of little items that I already had laying around. I had your main item sent direct from a mail order.
I stop and grab up stuff all year long to fill in corners for my gardening friends. I love sales and deals so nothing was very pricey. Some have specific names attached to them and others are up for grabs. So one item in here was purchased with you on my mind and I planned on attaching a note, because it is such a cheap junky item but the graphics were spot on. Maybe you can make something else out of it. Everything else is just fun stuff. If you have half as much fun opening it as I did packing it in then it will have been worth it all."
Please refer back to this little letter when your box arrives. I plan on shipping it off tomorrow, priority.

I ordered an online direct gift for Adrian's baby shower that should have had a card and a note and I think I remember correctly that the package did not have it so I don't put a lot of stock in them doing that.

I've got to get the rest of my stuff in the mail. I have my book club tonight so it will probably be tomorrow or Thursday before it gets mailed out.

And I got an email confirmation that my mail order item was shipped out. So by the end of the week my person should get some fun stuff.

And I am tracking my packages as they make their way to their destination. They have passed through the nearest big city closest to my person's home town. Maybe tomorrow? Friday for sure!

i have to go to one more store. i don't want to order online if i can find what i want here. but i'm sure i will find it. i know i will.

And they are supposed to be out by the 15th so everyone has time.
I just panic if I have a deadline. I am an early person and will get physically ill if I am late. That is good for most things but not the best thing for my guts if I am delayed..

I really found shopping for my person difficult. I wanted that 'one thing' that jumped out at me and said her name. I don't feel I ever really found it. But I've seen several things since I sent off her packages that would fit her garden style.

I am tracking her UPS package and it was in the state this morning. Maybe today. I guess she nearly tripped over that box yesterday.
Lowes has seeds of all kinds of veggies in Sesame street characters. And then matching little garden tools for little hands. Red Elmo is tomato seeds. Cute stuff.

i think the person who has my name is sending me a bunch of little things. one box at a time. so far i like. a fridge magnet. a shot glass. have to take pictures. oh, and they do have my address wrong. the house number is 2630 :giggle: i might have sent it wrong to penny though. :Blush: my typing of numbers isn't the greatest.

A birthday swap club? Everyone send a little something to someone within their birthday month. Fill out a questionnaire with your month, likes, dislikes, etc? Spread the joy throughout the year and a person can really celebrate their B-day big time.

oh that is a great idea tina! and yes triss, it was sheri. i couldn't figure out why she sent the magnet other than as a response to the elvis i sent her, until i got the shot glass. then it clicked. i'll be posting pictures when photobucket cooperates.

The birthday thing can be opened beyond the gardening crowd. Someone like Jim may like rechargeable batteries for his ghost equipment or Barb may like to stop at McDonalds for breakfast or something like that. It neither has to be expensive to send or expensive to buy. But it could be fun to do. It would just require a list from each participant and their month. If there are 12 participants than each celebrant would receive 12 items to fill out their birthday month.
And a commitment for a year.

that is beautiful jessica and tammy. good job! and dianna, the bumper sticker magnet didn't come with anything other than a piece of cardboard to keep it in good shape. but i KNEW who it was from. and the shot glass said from "sheri miller" but again, who could it be? great gifts, i didn't have the shot glass, and the magnet is very good quality. she got her money's worth out of it.
