That is stunning.  I sure wish mine would bloom again.  I know I should be doing stuff with it, but I just do not take the time to do more than water it.

I'm going to get a Christmas cactus.  I haven't tried to keep houseplants in this house because even though we have 28 big windows we have had at least 100 big oak trees surrounding our house meaning we don't get a lot of sun in our house.  Now that a few of the trees have been cut down and we've changed around our back porch, I put a little table and chairs that I bought at Big Lots Saturday for $99.99 out there, so now I have the perfect spot for a Christmas cactus.

Is it unusual to have 3 colors in it?

I think that's 3 different plants in the same container.

Nice.  I love that little table.  I need something just that size for my kitchen so when we have company they can be comfortable when we cook.

Do you have a Big Lots?  Johnny wanted to buy one at Pier One but they were at least %400.00 and I didn't want to spend a lot of money so we got this for %100.00.

this Big Lots just reopened in a newer building and they have a lot more stuff.  The other one was trashy.  I never shopped there.

I have never been to Big Lots.  But that is a super cute table and chairs, Sheri.  You said your new porch?  Did Mr. Rape do some work in there?

Mr. Rape did do some work on the porch.  I think it was at one time an open porch with a roof where they had their washer and dryer and then closed it in.  I'm just guessing all that.  It had one set of cheap, particle board cabinets on it.  When we first moved in there was some type of cheap, shiny, ugly panel stuff on the walls and some ugly and I do mean UGLY tile on the floor but the ceiling is tongue and grove wood.  So I pulled the panel stuff off the wall and underneath was just the old, wooden plank house with some white paint still on the wood that was the original house.  There was no insulation between the planks and the siding.  I scraped the planks and painted everything white, painted the cheap cabinets red and Johnny put brick tiles on the floor.  Over the last 10 years the paint on the walls had gotten chipped so Mr. Rape came in and insulated, put up beardboard on the walls, took down the old cabinets and built some nice ones and painted everything white again.  Johnny had a heating and air vent run out there so now we can leave the door between the kitchen and the porch open.  We've thought about removing the door that separates them but I'm not sure about that.

I've always thought that Big Lots was just a junk store but it's moved next store to Pier One.  There was a table at Pier One that we were going to buy but I was having a hard time spending $400.00 on a tiny table (I'd rather spend it on shoes) for a porch so I begged Johnny to walk next door.  I'm so glad we did.

I love Big Lots. Not for everything all of the time. But they have some great deals on some sweet stuff, sometimes. Congrats!

I'm going to have to get a bigger pot.  That little one on the table just won't do.  I'm going to plant them together like you've done.

I received the onion seeds.  I'll mail them to you tomorrow.

Thanks.  I got the pot at Home Depot, where I got my new clothes dryer that is being delivered today, and my sister told me I'm not supposed to shop there because they support homosexuals.  I'm not sure what that means.  I'm for anyone who is willing to work and not live off my tax dollars and the man who sold us our stuff was doing just that as far as I know and I have no idea of his sexual orientation.  My sister is a wonderful person but I just refuse to discuss some things with her.

I think I got a little off subject here.
