It is nice to have the space  but I am not a big fan of the cellar. I hope I don't slack off on that account  :rolleyes1:

Is the celar finished off, carpet n stuff, or really just a cellar, cinder block style? Move the living room to the cellar and make that your sewing room!
:laughmao: :laughmao:
No, really, natural light is very helpful to me when coordinating color fabrics & threads.

when Keith was in a band he put up this ugly sound board. and wrote all over it .. It will not come off the walls he used liquid nails on the walls  :rolleyes1: the barrel for oil and the furnace is down there too as well as the washer and dryer.. It is not a room that is really ment for much more than storage

theres this paint [cant remember what its called] that gose over anything n what ever it gose over dosnt bleed through it, they used it at work when they painted panling walls.  or you could just build new walls,  if ya get enough light in there thats all that matters, n you have your own space!! lucky you!  i have all my stuff cramed under a lil table in the living room,   :laughmao:  not that it realy matters to me since i do whatever werever im at,  but a room to put n organize it all would be great.

I grew up and live in southern California. Very few cellars or basements here. Whenever I see one I see wonderful, usable space. Even storage is cool. When I lived back east, I divvied up my apartment basement with mattress boxes for walls. Storage on one side. Tossed a carpet on the floor of the other side and put most of the kids toys down there. They had a great playroom.
When we bought a house, I started to finish off the attic for my own space. I never did get to finish that project.

Rita, you have a very good space to use as a crafting area. You could "finish" the basement and claim it as your own space. No males allowed. That includes hubby and kids! :laugh1:

Wow, Christy! What beautiful work you do... :)

I wish I had 1/10th of the talent that all of you have! :grinnnn:

heres a lattice pattern,  if ya want it for a someday project, i dont know the name of the block, just somthin i played with in paint,

There are a lot of talented people on this forum and you are one of them, Rita. Don't sell yourself short. I loved your denim quilts... :grinnnn:

Christy, I wish I could learn to use the paint program like you do. I have been experimenting with it, using it for my seed packs, and I get so frustrated with it. Rita is right. You have a great eye for design...
