this is a wonderful site with a bunch of do it yourself ideas of how to build a cheese press to how to get started on a cheap..

the only difference I noticed on this site is that he should of used a Whole Junkett rennet tab instead of half ...

Is there a favorite cheese you have I will post the recipe if I have it ??

Do you want the whole list of favorite cheeses?  lol

Ok, I'll be good.

First I like colby, and then the cream cheeses, then the cottage cheese.  I'd be happy if I just could make those.  Anything else is extra.

That is a great site.  I'm glad you posted the link

Do you have those recipes?  Or are they on the site and I just didn't recognize them?  Do you think I should follow his suggestion of making the cheeses he recommends in order?

Thankyou so much for the link to the cream cheese.  That looks really easy and no special tools either just the enzyme.  I hope the other two are almost as easy as this one.

Colby is a tough one Duh ...
Cottage cheese I am trying to look for an easy one I thought I seen one without the use of enzymes... but I can't seem to find one I will post it though if you want.. you just use Mesophilic starter and calcium chloride.. You can make the mesophilic yourself.. the CC I know you can't ..

Here is the best home discription I have found hope you enjoy... If you Really want the colby cheese I will post that as well but you will be trying to find press's and all sorts of things to make cheese ..

Could you suggest another cheese.  I'm thinking I would like something like the velveta that you can get.  It is so good for sauces and dips and things.

QuesdoBlanco Cheese

Here is another easy cheese to make.. You need something finer than the cheese cloth you find in the store. like a sheer curtain.

I read that your mozzarella turned out great.  Which specific recipe did you use for that one?

I used this one Triss!!
How to make Mozzerella Cheese in 30 mins.

This really turned out great.. If you can find the Junkett rennet at the store use one whole tablet ... the citric acid should be easy to find at the pharmacy call around and ask .. If nothing else you can have them order this for you
It was just as easy as they said it would be too!! RUBBER gloves are a must .. I had some just in case and I was glad .. its tough to knead with 2 spoons  :Whis:

We have a dairy near here.  I would just love to try this.  Looks like I have pretty much everything for it here at home already.  No special equipment and that is a plus.  Thanks Rita!
