Yellow flowering bush of some kind - [Solved] Forsythia
Patty S:
Just yesterday my neighbor told me what kind of a bush this is at the edge of my yard... & today you couldn't pay me to remember what she said! I'd never noticed it before, cuz it's hidden behind our motor home.
...and it's NOT a hard name!
It's all full of pretty yellow flowers (that don't smell) & she says the leaves will come later, when the flowers go away. NOT FAIR!
plants n pots:
FORSYTHIA - love 'em!!!
They are the kind where you can take a branch inside before it flowers and force it for some indoor winter color. Yes, the green leaves will replace the yellow flowers - a shame, huh?
Patty S:
Hmmm... that doesn't sound like the word she said, but what do I know? I can't remember!
(It does match the ones on Google Image Search, though.)

Sure! NOW you tell me!
Thanx, Lynne. Please make a note & remind me to go whack a branch off & bring it inside next January, OK?!
Dianna:
Patty, what a beautiful forsythia!
They make a bright spot in the yard wherever they are planted...
Tonya:
Doug and I both LOVE forsythia!! What a lovely splash of color, huh?
