Oh that is a bummer Dianna.  Looking forward to seeing the new games you all found!

 I just sent you a PM asking what game you were playing.  Guess I should have looked here first.  :Groaner:

I'll take a look at it tonight.  May have to find a different one if that one won't keep the score.  Heck I tried this one last night but I guess I didn't submit a score.

The arcade is fine, I was moving some games around last night as well as deleting some.  I had installed a couple of new ones, played them and was not able to save a score so I deleted them.  If there is a specific game that says that, please list the game instead of just saying the arcade is broke.

Clicking on the arcade button in the menu bar does bring up the arcade, so it's not broke.

I haven't won on backgammon but just played Broken Words and it worked fine even though my score sucked.  There are already scores saved so I would think you may have something going on on your end.  If you have played lots of games today, something in your browser may be causing that.

I'm not sure if Backgammon keeps the score.  In a regular board game of backgammon is there a score?  I'll check into it but there were no errors in the log.  Most every time I have not had a score saved, there were errors in the log.

Having trouble with backgammon as well, it will not let my pieces exit the board.

I showed Dianna how to play last night and it worked fine.  I just checked the site where I got the game and it does not record a high score.  Once I figure out how to get the v32 games working, there is a much nicer backgammon game that does record a high score if you win.  Until then, this is what we have.

Just a reminder, you can't bear off in backgammon if you can move, even if all your pieces are in the bottom right area.

UPDATE:  I just played backgammon and it works fine.  To bear off you have to pick up the piece and place it as far right as you can and press the left mouse button to drop it.  You will barely be able to see it when it is off.

I changed out the Backgammon game for a v32 one that seems to be a bit better.  Difference in this one when you move, click where your are moving from, then where you are moving to.  If the roll of the dice is a 4 and a 1, you will have to move 4, then 1 and not 5.

So I figured out how to get the v32 games to work.  They were installing correctly but for some reason not moving the gamedata folder to the proper directory.  Once I fixed those, all the games work.

I have been seeing a few errors about the score not being saved because of a missing session.  That is something that happens now and again if you have been playing the arcade for an extended length of time.  The only advice I can give is to logout, close your browser then log back in.

Is there a sudoko that has numbers in it instead of symbols?

If there is I haven't found it.  There may be something to do with licensing if you use numbers.  They get away with it with the symbols.

That is a bummer cuz it sure is hard to keep track of the symbols cuz you just cannot read them off in your mind like with the numbers.  Love the game though!

The new games are cool.  The math ones are so not my thing!

I like them too, except theres something wrong with the backgammon game. Yesterday I KNOW I had no men open and it hit me anyway, and just now i rolled a 1 & 3 moved the 1 and it rolled before i moved my 3 and yes there were pieces i could move 3.

I told Jim that the computer was cheating last night! :laughpound: I had the same problem, Wrennie!

yep there is definitely something wrong with the Arkadium's Backgammon it keeps telling me all the moves I want to make are invalid.  Grrrrh.

I'm not sure what the problem might be.  One thing that i noticed is that for example if you roll a 6 and a 4 and you decide to move one piece 10 spots, you have to stop on the 6 then move the 4.  If you don't it will tell you invalid move.

I'll try to watch next time Dianna plays it.  I have played at least a dozen times and not one time have I experienced the problems you mention.

I have been playing this one a ton and have not noticed it not letting me move unless I did not have a move.

Oh I just LOVE this game!

Yep, it normally reports "not a valid move" when in fact it's not.  From the rules it says, "Each die is an individual move".  Tonight I thought it hit me when it shouldn't have but what happened was it hit me and then moved that same piece the value of the second die.  It happened so fast and what caught my eye was that he didn't have a piece where mine was. The computer just moves too fast.

We need 3 more players for the Tournament that I created.  Not sure exactly how it works but thought we would give it a try.  Click on the Tournament tab and then join.  I have limited it to 6 players so once it's full, we will begin.

Yeah, but when it hit me there were no pieces open to hit. Mine were all covered.

We still need one more person for the tournament.  It's all fun so join us and let's see how it goes.  We can have these any time but we need to get this one going so I can see how things shake out.  I've been seeing some errors in the log but until we get it going I won't be able to troubleshoot.
