What Am I? - [Solved] Bird's Nest Fern

I have had this plant for awhile, but still haven't figured out what it is. Now it is getting some brown spots on it and I would like to find more info on it so I can keep it from getting worse. If I had a name for it, I am sure it would help...

Darn! I've seen that plant, but can't remember what it's called! I'll ask my daughter when she comes home tomorrow, cuz I'm sure she knows. She's into houseplants like that... you should see my house since she moved back in a couple weeks ago... it looks like we live in a jungle now!

That's a FERN?! I sure never would have guessed that! (Daughter isn't home yet, so I don't know what she would have said... I'm going to quiz her on it though.)

It's a pretty plant, Dianna, & it DOES sorta look "nesty"! I wonder how big of a bird it would occomodate! ??? Maybe you should have put a nickel in the pot, so we could see how big things are.... (or not!) ::)

I just hate those generic plant tags! Now, just how hard would it be for those people (whoever they are) to put in tags with some helpful information on them? ???

Come to think of it... if they did that, we might know how to care for them instead of killing them, & then we wouldn't go off & buy more! What a way to generate business!
(Customer Service... what a concept!)
