Be sure to protect all your tender plants in the next few days. It looks like our first big long freeze is headed our way, starting Friday.

We have snow in the forecast from Friday through Sunday.  I sure hope we get a bunch of it!  I know, I know, I am the only one who wants it.

We are all under the same stars, therefore we are never far apart.

TRISS!!!  :yikes:

Actually, I'd rather have snow to insulate my plants if we are going to be below freezing for long. My gunnera and bananas are going to get chilly.

My banana plant is inside so it is safe there.  Nothing that is outside will be harmed so I am ok with that.  I just wanna be able to go outside and make a snowman and snow angels with the kiddos.  :grinnnn:

Arctic air is here, news says it'll last into next weekend, nothing outside will be safe.

I even need to bring out my long underwear here. Your arctic air is coming way down here and I may even get snow tonight.

We are in the midst of the snow and cold here as well.  We got less than an inch of snow but the temps are in the low 20's and it is windy.  The kids did get to play in it earlier before the wind picked up but even they only stayed out for less than a half hour.  Too darn cold and more cold expected along with more snow on Wednesday.  Apparently Portland got hit hard with chains required on all of the metro freeways in that area.  I am praying that Mike is safe while working in this weather.

We woke to several inches of snow today. School is flat out cancelled, instead for just delayed, and there is more snow in the forecast.

And, of course, Mike is working today.  :razberry:
