They tear for me as well Dianna, I think that is just the way of those noodles.
Tonight we are having burritos.

Dianna, have you tried the noodles that you don't boil first? I like them.
Tonight is taco night...one of my favorites!

I use regular noodles, unboiled like the no boil noodles. You just have to make sure you have a little extra liquid in the pan and room for expanding. Cover tightly for most of the baking and uncover at the end if you like.
Tonight I will be doing something with the pulled pork from my roast. I just have to figure what yet.

Tonight we had chicken and pasta. The kids just had a little butter and garlic on theirs pasta and their chicken plain but I cut my chicken up and added in peppers, onions, and fresh garlic... it was soooo good.

Hmmmm.
I have never heard of no boil noodles, Sarah. I didn't know that they even made them. I haven't spotted any at the store, either.
Thanks for letting me know...
Tina, you use the regular noodles and have good results? I will have to try that.
Thanks for telling me about it...
Tonight we had burritos...

Tonight I was late getting home from work so I stopped at the little store around the corner which has a killer deli in it and got chicken strips and tater logs (and a lotto ticket).

Good luck with that ticket. It could cure some of your ills.
I decided on twice baked potatoes with bacon. And broccoli and cheese sauce on the side or top depending.....

Tonight it is my "fancy" chicken dish -- Adam just loves it and always goes on and on about it. We're having bacon-cheese topped chicken, pilaf rice, and something else. I just don't know what. Maybe some broccoli. I love broccoli way to much. What my husband considers a "good wife" would fix him peas (barf!) I don't know if I can bring myself to do that tonight...

I am doing something with my pulled pork again. At least for John. I might just have some mac n cheese with broccoli with mine. I love broccoli and peas as well, Sarah.

Tonight was chili with cornbread. It was Patrick's choice so he made the cornbread tonight. I am going to start having him cook a meal a week so he can get practice.

Fixing up some chili-cheese burritos for dinner this evening and maybe a spinach salad on the side. We somehow managed to start drinking tons of Pepsi (for me tons is maybe 2 cans day) and now we're quitting cold turkey. I'm exhausted. Just making dinner sounds tiring! Blah.

As a coffee drinker, I feel for you, Sarah. When I am not drinking coffee, I am drinking coke. Caffeine is hard to kick but not as hard as tobacco. You can do it.

Oh Sarah, I cannot imagine giving up caffeine cold turkey. The headaches alone would kill me. Good luck with that!
Tonight is spaghetti and meatballs... or something with chicken. Both are ready to go.

Aww, we're not that tough. Went grocery shopping and someone (not me) went clear back just to get a 24 pack. I'll probably start cutting way back, though. Caffeine gives me cysts and bad headaches -- with quitting I just get the headaches and get tired.

Cutting back can be done fairly easily. Then cutting back to nothing.
We had leftovers tonight.

I think I'll fix grilled cilantro salmon, rice, and a veggie for dinner tonight. Maybe a salad instead of a veggie. I made lemon tea cookies (about the prettiest cookie ever), peanut-butter oatmeal sandwich cookies, and my almost-famous chocolate chip cookies for the PTA meeting last night and have a lot leftover, so we'll have those for dessert.

Fried rice and shrimp is on my menu tonight. Go-withs are up in the wind yet. It often depends on what people around here feel like at the time.

I'll be making perogies today. Hopefully enough for dinner tomorrow, and at least a meal's worth for the freezer.
