Triss' Mystery flower #3 [Solved]: Evening Primrose "Sundrop"

(1/1)

Triss:
And this one is in my garden.  No idea what it is cuz I did not plant anything new in this weedy area.  This plant is very tall, about 4 feet.

Tina:
Oenothera elata hookeri. They are often in wildflower mixes. I get rid of them as soon as I see them because they are so prolific. If they stayed tidier I would appreciate them more.

Triss:
Ahh a variety of Evening Primrose also known as Sundrops since these ones bloom and stay open during the day.  Thanks Tina.
