We're using them but if we don't get them finished soon they're going to be damaged.  Just pray that Mr. Rape will call us today.

Good quality carpenters always have work.  Frank always did.  I'll cross my fingers that you find a quality carpenter and that he makes the time to fix your stairs.

Thanks.  All of them that have come have said it's a small job.  Mr. Helms said he could do it in a day.  Only the first man has given us a price so I don't know if the others feel like it's such a small charge they can't in good conscious charge much or what.  I haven't said we aren't willing to pay a certain amount.  I've just asked for quotes.  I'm beginning to wonder if I'm saying something to scare them off.

So last night Mr. Rape came out, an older man again, and he's supposed to call us back with a quote.  I thought work was slow and money was tight.  Evidentially not for the carpenters in our area.

I'm not sure I could let a guy named "Mr. Rape" into my house.

The carpenter, Mr. Rape, is actually taking measurements and is going to be working on the stair situation.  Johnny has sanded and filled some nail holes so things are looking up.  I still can't believe that yahoo didn't come back.  What a jerk.  It's like something that happens on a TV show.

I had a guy in school whose last name was Raper. We had one teacher that would do roll call last name first with a booming voice. It always sounded as though he was commandy the kid to rape someone.

I knew that other man, Bill, was a smart aleck from the beginning.  His attitude is terrible but I figured I didn't care about attitude if the work was good.  Until the end Johnny didn't even want to talk to him because of his smart ass ways.  I think little Bill was a bit surprised when Johnny did speak up.  What a jerk.

Mr. Rape is soft spoken and laughs easily and was recommended by the people who made our new kitchen pantry.
