Sunshine today and breezy. Temps are 39° with a wind chill of 34°. We are supposed to hit 16° for a low later this week as a cold north wind keeps us rather chilly. Guess I will have the pool pump set to run all day!

When I got up this morning it is -27 (without a wind chill) and it has now warmed up to -10. You are all jealous, aren't you??

It is a brisk 64* out side my back door. It is supposed to reach 75* in town today, bright and sunshiny. I bet you really are jealous.

Even I'm jealous. We are at our high of 51° today and are supposed to be down in the 20s tonight. Guess I need to go to my daughter's and let their dog sleep inside tonight.

Our weather people are talking about how we have the warmest thing going in the nation right now. But that is subject to change, Dianna. The answer is to go buy a private jet, hire a pilot and follow the sun around. But that wouldndn't make me very happy either.

Do you not have a "formal" season change, Tina? I am surprised that you are that warm. Or is this just chalked up to the weird weather that we have been having for a while?

We do have some pretty normal warm temps off and on all through the year, Dianna. Like a couple of weeks of Indian summer tossed in here and there. It is more abnormal to have freezing stuff for us.
We also have seasons but they are different and maybe less abrupt than a lot of areas. I still have the last leaves coming down off of deciduous trees and some are budding up for the new season now. The spring growth has begun on the ground and things are beginning to green up.
I am wondering what a winter without much wind would do for us. I will probably wonder all of my life.

I had to turn on the A/C in the van today when I picked Ted up from school. Of course if I had pulled off my sweatshirt I may have been able to avoid that. But that would have meant pulling over, parking and wriggling out of it while trying to stay decent in public. Reaching over and adjusting the interior temp was easier right then.

Ditto here. Our high today was 45. Low is to be 21 tonight. Areas just 50 miles inland are getting into the teens. Brrrr
