Lindsay got to pick out the paper, pattern, glitter, etc and she sat next to me and asked a million questions. This was the first 90 seconds she was down there: "How is glitter made?
Why did the people paint that wall blue? Do you like our car? When is the grass going to start coming green again? Do you think the tree is going to fall on the house and kill us when we're sleeping at like midnight pm? Is that the new glitter we just bought at the store? I like that glitter. How much glitter are you going to use? Can I put it in my hair? Blackie's hair? Oh that's dexter, can i please put it in Dexter's hair? He'd look SOOO pretty, mommy. Really, he would. Please? That's not fair. WHy can't I put glitter in his hair? No, Mommy, it's so little he will poop it out it won't get stuck in his insides, I promise. Ewwww, I don't want to clean up glitter poop. That's just gross. I'm gonna put just a little glitter in his hair mommy, okay? Why not? That is unfair. It's just a little glitter. He'd look like a pretty kitty all covered in glitter.
)
We aren't big birthday-party inviters. We invited Adams family, so that's at most 6, my family that's 15 (including minors), and then she was allowed to invite 1 friend. It was only 8 invitations in the end.
