I have some strawberry seeds, that were given to me, and you are more then welcome to them, if you'd like to try.

Penny, have you actually grown strawberries from seeds?  I have never.  Never even thought about it but they've got to start somewhere don't they.

I have what I call wild strawberries growing in an area.  They look similar.

I put some Johnny Jump Ups in the window boxes today and Johnny tiller up a spot for the peas and potatoes.  We didn't get them put out though because I fell off the ladder and am trying to pretend it's not hurt at this point.  I can't use my left hand at this point and it hurts like the dickens.

Ummmm, Sheri.  Nurses aren't supposed to do the stupid things that regular folk do, like pretend they aren't hurt when they know darn well they are.   :naughty:

   I'm a bad patient.

The radishes are coming up  and I've got a little red lettuce going on.  I think it's time to move the screen but I can just bet Lizzy will be digging in the fresh dirt and using it for a bathroom.

What if you put chicken wire down where you plant and don't want her to dig? I've heard it will stop them, and plants can grow up through it just fine.

And please take care of that arm.  :flower:

I'm hoping I feel like planting a few things outside in a few days.  How long can this hand hurt anyway?

Just give it a few days, and it'll get better.

I guess a week now.

If i am remembering correctly, those do take about 10 days to 2 weeks to sprout, mine took about 10 days or so.
