Some of my cabinets have that plastic stuff on the glass doors.  I don't care for it.  And I plan on learning the stained glass hobby so I could do them myself.

I don't know Dianna, I can surround myself with things that make me happy without structually changing the house.  And I'd like to be alittle selfless and think of her and her family and take them into consideration before I do something "big" at least on my budget.  I know the hanging ceiling could be taken down and the ceiling patched and painted, new doors could be hung.  So maybe those would be ok.  Changing the built-ins, I'll have to think about that.

Thats a great idea, i've always wanted to try stained glass too.

Several of my friends learned to do stained glass and made some pretty stuff.  Once you get the tools and take a class or two you wouldn't have a problem.
