Prediction is same as yesterday - but temperature-wise they were wrong yesterday. Was only supposed to be mid 80s but was 95 with a heat index of 100. Hopefully it won't get quite that hot today.

It is supposed to reach 85* here today. The wind is blowing like crazy. I think I won't be bringing out any ladders.

It rained all night and is expected to get nice at some point this weekend. Still dark and dreary out now though.

... and the yard is mowed, mower hosed off and put away right before the rain started. We have been needing the rain.

It's down to 74. Indicative of a cooler night - and it is kinda cool outside, though damp (still rainy off and on) - and hopefully a cooler tomorrow.

We ended up getting a half-inch of rain before it was all over. It looks like the garden grew a foot.

The forecast is showers all week and that will be good for the garden while we are on vacation.

just finished a late afternoon thunderstorm here. was nice, fast, and cooled things off a tad. we are down to 84, but the humidity is back up from 75% to 81%. i am thankful for fans and a/c

It's going to be another rainy day. Currently 76° and raining. So much for hitting the beach before the oil hits. It'll be here tomorrow, if not today.

Jenn, our temps the same but your humidity must be higher as our heat index is just 101. Don't know what the high was though. That's the temp now at 4:30

That's called, stay inside where you can breathe. You need gills to breathe in 100% humidity.

I just checked. Its currently 82 with 94% humidity here. Hasn't rained more than a sprinkle in a few hours now.
