We have spider lilies at work. I love them. They tried to dig them all up last year I think it was. But most of them came back, and some even bloomed. I didn't think any would after the abuse they got last year.

The place I want to move babies to is full of pine needles!  Cool.

Those flowers are stunning Jenn.

I saw no weeds until you mentioned them. Lovely showing there. I love both.
My hydrangeas are under pines and they will bloom pink unless I dose them.

aren't humans a funny lot.   Some of us try to change our skin color, we change our hair color and gardeners change their flower colors.  We think we know best.

what weeds, where...I won't see yours if you don't see mine.

I love the spider lilies those are cool.

I don't think my tropicanna are going to bloom this year.  They haven't grown since I brought them home.  But hopefully next year they will be a very nice clump.

Cut the heads off some sunflowers for the birds to eat where I can see them.

The birds are having a time in our sunflower patch, too. They like to have breakfast there...:)

Gorgeous!  I would love some seeds from that darker orange one if you can snag some from the birds.

Triss, I hate to say this, but I don't have a clue which one the orange ones are now. :( The blooms have been long gone for awhile now and I never marked them. Sorry...

Thank you, Jessica...:)

not exactly sure what these petunia like flowers really are.  They smell delicious and volunteer every year.  This is the first year I've had the lavender though.  Usually only white.  I've always called them million bells but was told by the lady at the plant nursery that they are NOT million bells.

I thought this was a cigarrett and wondered who had been smoking in my yard.

When I walked closer to pick it up the wings moved.
