It was 92° with a heat index of 109°.  Now that this thunder boomer is coming through, it has cooled to 88° with a heat index of 102° and dropping.

That's not even the warmest in the area. About 10 miles down the road, closer to the "city"  it's 98° with a heat index of 119°. And we have hours before we hit our highs.

At 9 am, it is 63* and 44%. We are to get a heat wave this weekend. I cannot believe the gift of wonderful weather Mother Nature has given me. But I am eternally grateful.
