a gaggle of geese to be exact.  by the restaurant where scott and i had dinner tonight

these were just "wild" canadian geese that happened to be there.  where the restaurant is used to be part of a 1500 acre tree farm owned by one of the giant paper companies.  they sold it and turned it into a mini town.  but you know, i might not mind a goose.  not that scott would want one, but... he doesn't want anything but cats and dogs

i should add, they were not remotely afraid of the cars...

If you get a goose you get a mated pair. They are much friendlier that way, to you.

If I lived on more land, I would have a pair of geese...or two. I really like them.

My daughter Ginger has a pair geese return to her yard every year.  They lay eggs which hatch and the parents and babies eat her grass and poop on her driveway.  Ginger fusses and fusses.  Everyone else thinks it's sweet.

Ginger and Chris found out the hard way not to approach the cute babies.  Ging thinks the parents killed a little dog that used to roam their neighborhood.
