Ah, the perfect solution to DIY.  Randy is comming over.  He is a local handyman and someone I know from meetings.  He's going to estimate what it will cost to do the work that keeps kicking my backside.  It's a good day.

It didn't rain so randy didn't come over and my stuff will still need to be fixed.

He made it.  Later in the day but he made it.  He was able to fix the toliet just by adjusting the chain.  I swear I tried that.  I know I did...I think.  Then he fixed the exhaust fan just by cleaning it and spraying the WD40.  He's going to paint the bathroom for 85 dollars and then next month he'll fix the deck for 50.  I'm so glad to be getting things fixed finally.

I managed to get out there and put down the stuff for the roses and weed a bunch more of the foundation bed, sidewalk bed, and sidewalk.  I'm not done but I'm closer.

Thanks Tina.  One of my peonies has seed pods developing.  I hope they manage to go all the way to ripe.  I know they take a long time but that's about all I remember about them.

The master bathroom is done.  And he found a leak underneath the house.  So he'll be back next month to fix that.  In the mean time I'll be filling the water bucket in the kitchen sink.  Doesn't that sound like fun?

I'm just glad the bathroom is done.

Very good, Tammy. And I have had to haul water in from a well in the backyard at times. The kitchen sink is a marvel.

So glad the bathroom is finished.  It's getting down a little at a time.

Well Randy hasn't come back but the other guys did a good job as posted in my blog.  I have set aside money for the driveway to be sealed and if he can't do it I'll see if the guy down the road can.  He owns a paving company.

What the refinance didn't cover, redo the vinyl floors, bathroom vanity/counter top/sink, medicine cabinet, Closet organizer.
