This is one of my buddies. He sneaks around when Mollie and Lil Roy are inside.

Looks like he is in the front yard to me! ;D

Yeah, he better be sneaking around out there. Mollie and Lil Roy would eat him if they caught him, and they would not wait on him to be cooked first! ::)

That's a good picture, Aunt Bonnie!

What an awesome pic, Bonnie! It probably looks real light to everybody else, but it's perfect on my screen! (I tried using my other monitor for a few days, but nearly went blind for all the brightness, so I reverted back to my eyeball-friendly monitor, even though most of the pics are real dark.)

I love watching squirrels, but from what I hear from everyone else, I'm lucky not to have them here. It's weird, cuz I've never seen one here in the 3 years we've been in this house... yet 2 miles away, people are tearing their hair out cuz the squirrels are digging bulbs up & raiding the bird feeders! Those people don't have the deer problems that we have, but at least I can set up an ugly piece of fencing to keep deer from pruning my rose bushes... I hear that there is no keeping squrrels away from anything, no matter how many tricks you try to pull on them!

Speaking of deer, Patty. I saw four of them in yard the other night. They jumped over the rail fence and took the top rail off. It's not unusual to see several in the yard on most any late night.

One year they ate most all my plants.

There is only one sure fire way to keep them out. That is to sprinkle some pepper on the ground where you don't want them at. They will get the pepper up their noses and leave that spot alone. (Not that I am condoning doing this but it's the only way to stop them)

That's good to know, but they don't really bother me. One knocked over my stump bird feeder last night.

Actually this is a back porch buddy. Kinda hard to believe that it is just a tiny green frog, it looks like a monster frog.

What kind of birds are picking your herbs, Aunt Bonnie? Is it the red birds that hang around your house? I don't believe I have ever seen so many red birds in one area in my life!

Looks like the flutterby is enjoying the verbena as much as Trent did!  ;D

That looks like one humongous frog! :o Looks like you could have frog legs for supper!  ;)

Yep, that frog looks like it has been eating pretty good.

Looks like you could have frog legs for supper!  ;)

and plenty of left overs the next morning.  He don't look none too happy about having his picture taken.

Dianne, I think those are baby red birds, and they were there again this morning.

As for the frog, he is a teeny weeny baby green frog perched on top of the back door. That's just a close up. Cute ain't he. I don't know why I bothered to buy them a frog house they still like to perch on mine.
