Something new about all bank transactions

A friend at work told me about this. Here is the link to story.

What really inhales air is, when you buy groceries with your bank card, you are charged 1% for that amount, when you buy gas, beer, drinks, clothes, whatever you buy using your bank card, whether its a checking or savings you are charged 1%.   Right now its not doing so good on becoming a done deal.... but it could happen

Vending machines now in the works of putting a card kios in the machines, that way its easier for them to count the money.

I did some researching into this.  This bill was presented by Rep. Fattah, and he can't find anyone to vote for it.  Its been presented several times over the past 4 years and each time it dies.
