At 7 am it was -13° with wind chill of -25°. At 10:30 am it is -6° with a wind chill of -17°.

I could not believe the roof falling... and to be caught on tape was kinda cool. Glad it did not happen during a game... that would have been awful.

The rain has stopped... at least for a while. My puddles have soaked in and we avoided flooding in our area.

They had already postponed the game before the roof thing. Because of the storms and bitter cold and the roof leaking. Besides the other team couldn't fly in.

Don't understand the "feels like" as the super icy wind has been whipping all day.

They are predicting record breaking lows throughout the state (down in the teens here) with farmers taking measures to try and save both strawberry crops and citrus crops.

Yup, local news says it is currently 36 with a 'feels like' temp of 25 - right now @ 6:00 p.m.

at 8:30 it is 30 with feels like 23. supposed to get into the teens with windchills down to 11. brrrr

Oh Brrrr. It is 23 with a wind chill of 18. We're not supposed to even get to 40 today. Glad I have a worm coat and thermals for under my clothes.

I think brutal is an understatement for you Penny.

It is pouring here again. Rained really hard overnight and lessened up a bit this morning. And the 10 day forecast? Yep more rain.

We got a special weather alert for landslides in the state. It said there have been 29 landslides as of yesterday afternoon that have had major impact on roads, rail lines and homes.
