Come to the garden alone, while the dew is still on the roses....

For the garden of your daily living, plant three rows of peas:



1. Peace of mind
2. Peace of heart
3. Peace of soul

Plant four rows of squash:

 

1. Squash gossip
2. Squash indifference
3. Squash grumbling
4. Squash selfishness

Plant four rows of lettuce:



1. Lettuce be faithful
2. Lettuce be kind
3. Lettuce be patient
4. Lettuce really love one another

Don't forget to add three rows of turnips:



1. Turnip for meetings
2. Turnip for service
3. Turnip to help one another

And three rows of thyme:



1. Thyme for each other
2. Thyme for family
3. Thyme for friends


Water freely with patience and cultivate with love. There will be much fruit in your garden because you reap what you sow.

When I popped in this afternoon, I saw the topic in the "Recent Posts" list & it said, "Re: How To Plant Your Garden by Barleychown (Gardeners Chat)", so I clicked on it & read it, thinking it was Sarah's topic! 
Her post was so itty bitty, I guess I missed it!

That's my excuse!

Thing is, I know Sarah personally, & you dont... & that's the kind of thing I think she'd share, cuz she's just the sweetest gal in 3 counties around here!

Course, on the other hand, the post that started this topic reminds me of Dianna too, cuz she's a sweety! Now I'm gunna get outta here, before I dig myself in any deeper!!

Are you trying to tell us that YOU didn't proofread?  Oh, the shame revealed by a former teacher! 

Keep digging and you will have a lake (pond) ready for landscaping in your yard! I think I will go find me some boots!

No, I'm not trying to say that I didn't proofread, at all! I did preview my post, to make sure the large print showed up right, instead of just the "[size]" codes, & I also read every word... it was just as I intended!  I wasn't aware that it wasn't Sarah's topic until Jim quoted me, & his post had me confused for a minute!

What ever happened to the alternating post background colors? They used to be blue/white/blue white, & it's sure throwing me off, now that every one is white!

And here I thought I had it fixed! Everything used to be too dark... now you're telling me I have it too light!   (There never were alternating colors in the reply box, that I saw.)
