The holes are dug for these so that come spring I won't have to fight the clay so much.  I'm wondering if I should add anything to the planting holes.  Bone meal, sulphur, compost...?

Yeah, the roses are in the ground.  That was a lot of uphill walking and I am way out of shape.  But it's done.

Well the top railing of the fence fell on the roses and knocked out completely out of it's planting hole.  Lets hope it survives since it was several days before I got up there to assess the damage.

Roses are actually pretty tough, Tammy. Stick it back in the ground and it should surprise you.
