Collecting music
« on: Feb 19, 2011, 03:11:45 AM »
:banana02: I am new here so I wish to talk and ask about common hobbies.Does any one here..
Go banana!  ??AC/DC....had to bring out the bad boys to remind to let it go sometimes.
That is one hobbi that all can enjoy with others? Music is my hobbi for yoga. Does anyone here do yoga? Or meditation? Or blending of oils for... perfumery is an in an art I am teaching the grand daughter at the moment in time. Yes,there are enchanted ones too.?
:sorciere: Do not call me a witch,I find it insulting like...change with the times, that's how serious I am about that one.Do not do curses,to much backlash one doer,me!!!.
So that is a no no topic I hope here to?
And read most any book older than fifty years old, have collection of over 546 books.
None worth $ much ,haven't looked do not care they are pricless to me. Research of many areas are my favorite passion,an no one should beleive everything they read..in todayworld,it's in need of serious backup!
Well back tomarrow,,if still want me.. :ScratchHead:

I edited you smilies.  They need to have a space after them in order for them to display properly.

So do you collect any other music besides AC/DC?

I knew there was a reason I liked you.   :giggle:  My fav to sing is country, but my fav to listen to is blues. I used to like to sing blues, but I can't do it justice anymore. Heck, who am I kidding - I don't do any of it justice anymore.  :giggle:

I have tried to do yoga but need to find a place where the classes aren't so crowded.  It's not fun when we're all squished up and have to "modify" everything.

I also tried to do meditation.  I went to a church in Asheville with 2 friends and took a class.  My brain won't be still though.  It drove me crazy trying to focus.

That's what did it Jen.  I wasn't crazy until I tried to meditate.

As far as hobbies, I suppose reading and gardening would be my top too.

We also collect music.  Between us all there is a huge variety though right now the kids are stuck on Queen so we seem to be listening to that quite a bit.

Books we collect and have a nice sized library worth of them though it does not stop me from going to the library once a week for more books to read.

I collect bunnies and I craft... just about any kind of crafting.  And I collect kids though I stopped collecting them at 8. :grinnnn:

We are all under the same stars, therefore we are never far apart.
