Sounds tasty, Jen!
I think I'm planning on making tamales for dinner tonight. They sure sound good and with the sudden cold snap (in the low 40's) something warm and filling should be appropriate.

A pot roast with carrots, onions, celery, and potatoes. A tossed salad and bread with butter.

Grilled salmon, steamed broccoli and salad with ranch dressing. Sounds so healthy. Washing it down with Pepsi.

I put cubed beef with carrots and onions into the crock today. Then later I laid whole potatoes on top to steam. I will be eating that on the taters tonight.

The Dollar General Its an off brand, come in tub about the size of Margarine for $3-something. 10 carbs per serving, zero transfats. Can't tell the brand as I took the wrapping off already and tossed it at work (had it for lunch). It's really Good. Don't remember the calorie count. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Of course I need to not put it on white buns and eating with chips. lol

James took some brats out of the freezer that were freezer burnt. I cooked them because he said they would be fine. I figured he could eat them if he wanted. He ate 1 and said they weren't very good.
Tristen had a grilled hot dog and I had leftover spanish rice and taco meat.
