i will be putting it on the "to grow" list, it looks really, really good.

Once you eat it you'll never be happy with store bought again.   Do you have an all year farmers market close by?  The one I go to is where I first found this.  A lady grows it all year long in her green house.  She sells it for $5.00 a head.  They're small heads so it takes 3 for us to have a bowl of salad that will last more than one day.  It saves me a little $$$ when I can harvest a few heads myself.

We do but it is awkward to get to and I've never been there. I have to find the seeds now.

I get my seeds at Lowe's.

bayou girl:
gotcha!  i'll go there tomorrow when i get off work. it is literally around the corner from the library.
