Avocado Tree Needs Home

duh:
Ok my avocado tree is now about 10 feet tall.  I just moved it outside for the growing season.  There is no way it is going to fit back inside come this fall.  So the questions is, who is comming north between now and then who can take it home.  It needs zone 8 minimum.

You can top this tree and still keep it for a few more years, Tammy.

duh:
I have nightmares about the roots penetrating the pot and the floor looking for water and nutrients before I realize it.  Anyway I'm getting a roommate and the tree is loosing his home.

Cut it back and try to sell it. I'm sure someone would like to have it. Cash is always good.
